Job Description

PRIMARY SKILL: PROJECT MANAGER

A successful candidate will have 5+ years experience of enterprise level Solaris UNIX system support. Candidate will be responsible for: Provide Solaris UNIX systems administration support for the Global Computing Services SE Solaris (GCS SE Solaris) team. Supportthe administration of Sun-branded hardware and Sun Solaris operating system,Veritas Storage Foundation and Veritas Cluster Server software. Perform, system audits and troubleshooting. Install patch, OS upgrades and mentor less senior level SE's. Demonstrate knowledge of standard system startup/shutdown mechanics, installation of standard tools (Apache, gnu, Solaris OS related) and UNIX utilities. Interact with multiple project teams across all disciplines (networking, database administration, application development and support teams, vendor support). Perform scripting in Perl, Shell, or C programming.
