Position Overview

Rising Sun Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant outpatient rehabilitation team located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This full-time position requires a compassionate professional who excels in delivering one-on-one patient care while working collaboratively in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

About the Organization

Rising Sun Physical Therapy is a fully physical therapist-owned practice that has been serving the community for over 15 years. Our mission is to empower patients through education, enabling them to overcome obstacles and utilize physical therapy as a means to achieve a healthier and more fulfilling life. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service throughout the rehabilitation journey, crafting tailored treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of our patients rather than applying a one-size-fits-all methodology.

Work Environment

This role is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, where you will meet patients in a dedicated outpatient setting. The center is designed to foster a therapeutic atmosphere conducive to recovery and healing. You will be working regular hours from Monday to Friday, within an 8-hour shift schedule, averaging around 40 hours per week. Our facility promotes a culture of shared knowledge and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions, ensuring alignment with their personal health goals.
  • Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques to enhance recovery outcomes.
  • Educate patients on their conditions and empower them with self-management strategies to facilitate healing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment responses using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Conduct patient evaluations to assess needs and establish baselines for tracking recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the center to optimize patient care and share insights into multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, catering to a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, utilizing a holistic view of health that considers both physical and emotional well-being. Our center is also recognized for expertise in pelvic floor rehabilitation, so we are particularly interested in candidates experienced in this area.

Qualifications
  • Current Physical Therapy License in California is required.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • CPR certification is preferred, with a willingness to acquire it if not already held.
Preferred Experience
  • Proven experience in outpatient orthopedic settings with a focus on one-on-one patient interaction.
  • Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and a desire to further develop this skill set.
  • Knowledge and experience in pelvic floor rehabilitation will be considered a significant advantage.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 โ€“ 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:

  • Health insurance to support the well-being of our team members.
  • Flexible scheduling options to promote work-life balance.
  • Life insurance for added financial security.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining Rising Sun Physical Therapy not only places you in a supportive and cooperative work environment, but it also lays the groundwork for your professional growth. We encourage team members to pursue continuing education, attend workshops, and obtain specialized certifications, particularly in areas of emerging physical therapy practices. As our practice evolves, so too will opportunities for advancement within our team and leadership roles.

Why Join Our Team

At Rising Sun Physical Therapy, we foster a culture that values collaboration, open communication, and professional development. If you are a self-driven and confident Physical Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients while enjoying a fulfilling career, we encourage you to consider joining our dedicated team. Here, you'll work alongside passionate professionals who share your commitment to high-quality patient care.

Application Information
