Job description

Summit Healthcare Staffing is a healthcare staffing firm focused on recruiting and placing professionals across care settings, including nursing and home healthcare roles. We support organizations that rely on strong clinical talent, and we are building a startup department designed to strengthen and scale that work.

This role is an opportunity to make a visible impact from the ground up. As our In-House Recruiting/Onboarding Rep, you will take ownership of recruiting efforts within a growing department and help shape how the function operates as it expands. This is a hands-on role for someone who is energized by building, improving, and creating structure in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the solo recruiter for the startup department.
  • Handle all sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding activities.
  • Build systems and processes to support the department’s growth.
  • Spearhead the department and help grow it into a multi-person team.
Required Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience recruiting home healthcare clinicians, including full-cycle work across sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Experience recruiting across home healthcare clinician types including RNs, LPNs, PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, STs, and MSWs.
  • Experience building recruiting processes from scratch.
  • Extensive professional network with established connections in the Cincinnati area.
  • Experience working with Directors of Nursing (DONs).
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing teams of recruiters.
  • BA in Business, Health Administration, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, or HR.
  • Professional network with connections across Ohio.
