Order Entry 

Summit Stairs & Millwork is hiring an Order Entry Specialist responsible for order entry and vendor scheduling tasks in support of resource planning activities. This position reports directly to the Customer Service Manager.

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Enter customer purchase orders accurately.
  • Expedite and prioritize resource schedules while maintaining trade partner portals.
  • Provide real-time support to the field for reschedules.
  • Monitor schedules, communicate delays, and work with trade partners to resolve scheduling issues.
  • Utilize software systems such as Hyphen BuildPro, BWP, or similar systems effectively.
  • Collaborate with trade partners to verify capacity and avoid overbooking to prevent bottlenecks and missed orders/schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1+ year current experience in BuildPro/SupplyPro systems preferred.
  • Background/experience in the construction industry.
  • Professional attitude to represent the company positively.
  • Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong follow-up, communication (written and verbal), and time management skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple detail-oriented tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Solid understanding of the construction process and how scheduled tasks interact.
