JOB SUMMARY
E SSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Set up for daily service including dishware, glassware, silverware, linens and other amenities according to daily procedures and Restaurant General Manager’s direction .

  • Serve food & alcohol within the laws of the Washington State Liquor & Cannabis Board and Washington State Health Department .

  • Provide attentive, courteous, and professional service in accordance with company hospitality standards

  • Greet guests promptly, introduce self , and establish rapport to create a welcoming dining experience

  • Recommend appetizers, beverages, desserts, specials, and add-ons in a guest-focused manner

  • Maintain consistent table presence through appropriate check-backs and pacing of courses

  • Accurately enter guest orders into POS systems, including all modifications, dietary restrictions, and timing requests

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and potential modifications

  • Demon strate and communicate food and beverage menu knowledge including ingredients, modifications, allergens for standard and special items to provide informed suggestions to enhance guest satisfaction

  • Answer guest questions accurately or seek clarification from kitchen or management when needed

  • Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service

  • Monitor guest satisfaction indicators such as pacing, refills, and course completion

  • Deliver correct items to correct guests using proper service etiquette

  • Verify condiments, accompaniments, and modifications are provided as requested

  • Maintain accuracy in bill presentation and payment processing

  • Handle payment transactions accurately and in compliance with company procedures

  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, expo, hosts, and support team to ensure smooth service flow

  • Assist with side work, opening/closing duties, and service preparation tasks

  • Maintain punctual attendance, uniform standards, and workplace professionalism

  • Develop and maintain an organizational culture, values and reputation with staff, and guests.

  • Ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment .

  • Act as a representative of Crystal Mountain with guests & community members .

  • Abide by all Crystal Mountain employment guidelines.

K NOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must hold a valid M . A . S . T . Class 12 or 13 Permit (Washington state serving license)

  • Must hold a valid Washington Food Worker Card (Health & Food Safety)

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in Food and Beverage

  • Basic knowledge of P.O.S. systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation .

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 3 0 pounds on an occasional basis.

  • A ble to manipulate a full - size keg of beer (~160 pounds)

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.

  • Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.

  • Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.

  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.

  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
