Oasis Gymnastics is looking for reliable, patient and fun Summer Camp Coaches who love to work with kids!

Job Description

Our Summer Camp dates are May 26th to July 31st, Monday-Friday. We are looking for coaches that can commit to the summer schedule and build strong relationships with our students and bring a positive and fun attitude each day!

We have half and full days of camp available from 9am-12pm and 9am-3pm. We are looking for our camp coaches to work from 8:35am - 12pm or 8:35am - 3pm Monday-Friday.

The pay will be $19/hour.

Your Role

You will be coaching! Your job will revolve around helping kids develop work ethic, listening skills, confidence, body control, and most importantly, ensuring their safety. You'll be:

  • Leading a group of 10 kids ages 5-13 years old
  • Modeling positive behavior
  • Exploring games and activities (PE style games/crafts/sports and games)
  • Promote teamwork
  • Have fun!

Your Qualities

Your most important quality is that you've got a constantly positive demeanor and want to share that happiness with your students. You:

  • Love working with kids
  • Ability to educate and engage campers in a variety of activities
  • Must be able to maintain a consistent summer schedule. The kids need their coach to be in the gym!
  • Must have reliable transportation

Your Experience

This job requires no experience, we'll teach you everything you need to know.

Fine Print

A few requirements to note:

  • Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away.
  • Ability to provide sustained attention to students during class time in the gym.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto a spotting block to assist athletes.
  • Ability to spot a gymnast, including the strength to lift and carry at minimum 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move equipment including the strength to push or pull at minimum 50 pounds.
  • This is a temporary position. Candidates are not eligible for employer sponsored benefits.
