Description
Camp Nan A Bo Sho (NABS), a YMCA summer sleepaway camp in Lakewood, Wisconsin, is hiring for Summer 2026. Camp NABS operates for up to 13 weeks, starting in late May to August, with campers arriving to Northern Wisconsin in June. Camp NABS focuses on providing an inclusive and safe experience for children to discover more about themselves in an environment that grows lifelong friendships and support. Spend this summer outside kayaking, painting, fishing, hiking, playing games and doing all the things you loved as child.

Requirements
  • Staff should be 18 years of age or older.
  • Housing and food are provided as well as access to free laundry, Wi-Fi and a staff lounge.
  • All positions require CPR and First Aid training with some positions requiring more advance certifications.
  • Paid training is provided and required for all staff.
  • Staff are given two hours off each day and 12 hours off each week. Time off schedule varies by week. Camp sessions run Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon with staff having off most weekends, except for one weekend designated as family weekend.
  • Staff need to be available to work 12-13 weeks of the summer, living with 35 other staff members and working with up to 130 campers each week in Lakewood, Wisconsin.
