Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Opportunity

Exeter Hospital is a level 3 trauma center located in Exeter, New Hampshire. This community-based practice offers an anesthesia care-team model, embracing an excellent work-life balance and collegial environment. CRNAs practice with autonomy and are encouraged to practice to the full scope of their license, being comfortable with pediatrics is preferred. Some CRNAs may serve as clinical preceptors for nearby nurse anesthesia programs. Exeter is conveniently located, being less than an hour from Boston and Portland, which is great for commuters within the family. This superb location is the quintessential place for both summer water sports and winter snow sports. There is great access to outdoor activities and notable schools, such as Phillips Exeter Academy. Also, Boston's Logan airport is only an hour away for more extensive traveling. It is considered a great place for family living and community. There is no state income tax or sales tax. CRNAs work in a care-team model and have the ability to practice with autonomy. CRNAs are encouraged to practice full scope with options to perform regional anesthesia (spinal and blocks).

No head/hearts or chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements• Current license as a registered professional nurse• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
