Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, as directed by supervisor
  • Strip, wax, and buff floors on a scheduled routine basis and as needed for unexpected occurrences
  • Move furniture, equipment, and assist residents with moving needs as assigned
  • Assist with grounds care as necessary, such as weeding in the summer or snow removal in the winter
  • Consistently work cooperatively with residents, co-workers, physicians, families, consultant personnel and other ancillary service providers

Join us today if you meet the following requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three to five years of painting/wallcovering experience in a residential setting
  • Electrical and plumbing experience
  • Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community and on-call duties
