What You'll Do
Projects will be defined and scoped collaboratively but may include:
  • Conducting industry, market, and competitive research to identify investment opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Building and maintaining market intelligence, deal pipeline trackers, and investment research to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assisting in the development of business cases, investment memoranda, and executive presentations.
  • Analyzing financial and operational data to identify growth opportunities and investment risks.
  • Supporting due diligence efforts by coordinating research, organizing documentation, and synthesizing findings for senior leadership.
  • Identifying inefficiencies in deal sourcing, diligence, and reporting processes, and driving improvements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Finance, Strategy & Operations, and Portfolio Companies to evaluate strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
  • Is currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program (graduating between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028)
  • Enjoys evaluating businesses, markets, and investment opportunities using both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Is intellectually curious and comfortable solving ambiguous business problems with structured thinking.
  • Can synthesize complex information into clear, executive-ready presentations and recommendations.
  • Thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys working across multiple teams.
  • Has a GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Is based in or willing to relocate to Dallas for the summer (full-time, five days per week on-site).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Has approximately 2-4 years of full time experience in management consulting, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, strategic finance, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, or commercial due diligence.
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and business case development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline manual processes.
  • Familiarity with valuation methodologies, financial statement analysis, and M&A transaction processes.
