Summer Student Programmer Jobs in Anchorage, AK (NOW HIRING)

Student Engagement seeks a temporary employee to assist in the planning and delivery of our Student Activities programs. Starts at $22.36 per hour, 40 hours a week.
This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing summer programming opportunities for UAA students by planning event logistics, marketing activities, and ensuring all necessary supplies are ordered and available. The role also includes verifying that all required paperwork is completed and approved prior to each event to support smooth operations and compliance. In addition, the position contributes to campus engagement by serving on the annual campus traditions committee and participating in the interview process for the Student Activities team.
Experience in event production and management, risk management, and program assessment. Organizational skills, marketing, and promotion. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and extended hours. Experience in event planning, programming, marketing, community development programs, or related programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduation and two years of office/administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Position Details:
This is a full-time, temporary staff position. New hires will be placed on the UA Temporary Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience. 40 hours average per week.
