Advertised Job Summary
  • Students will provide tours and information sessions for new students planning to attend Upstate. Orientation staff may be required to stay on campus for one overnight event. Staff will stay in the Palmetto House or Magnolia House with new students and provide programming.
  • Orientation staff are expected to interact in a positive manner with prospective students, parents, faculty, and staff. Orientation staff will help prospective students understand the opportunities available at Upstate and assist them with scheduling classes for the fall semester. Assist with phones and student service in Enrollment Services offices.
  • Develop Communication skills through presentations. Learn leadership skills by managing student groups and working with other staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completed two semesters of coursework at Upstate before summer 2025.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Upstate campus.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75.
  • Attend mandatory one day training
Must be available to work on:
