Title: Senior Manager – Global License eCommerce
Reports to: Senior Director - Omni Channel Global Licensing
Location: This role will be hybrid, based in our New York Design Office

Get to Know the Role:
The Senior Manager of Global License eCommerce drives the global expansion of our e-commerce business, allowing us to have a consistent digital presence across the globe. This New York based role will act as a key strategic and operational bridge between our AEO internal teams and our global licensed partners. This role will ensure brand consistency, operational excellence, and the successful scaling of our e-commerce strategy globally.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build & execute a digital playbook, bringing a best-in-class site experience to the International customer globally
  • Drive commercial performance of digital channels across the portfolio of License partnerships
  • Assessment of Partner capabilities and strategic steering toward a complete omni-channel journey which may include BOPIS, brand app., etc.
  • Establish the role of digital marketplaces within the portfolio of each of our Licensed partnerships
  • Strategic management of marketing investments balanced with ROI to drive traffic and conversion on our sites
  • Adaptation and sharing of US & Mexico digital strategies (promotional frameworks, site merchandising, and UX improvements) with international partners to drive localized traffic growth, conversion, and overall business performance.
  • Oversee the optimization of international licensed sites, ensuring that brand aesthetics, customer experience, and technical standards align with global corporate benchmarks.
  • Serve as the primary corporate lead for licensed partners, providing day-to‑day operational guidance to ensure their digital platforms thrive.
  • Guide partners on effective site merchandising strategies, including product categorization, homepage storytelling, and shop features to drive conversion and UPT.
  • Collaborate deeply with Global Merchandising and Marketing, Account Management, and Technology teams to remove roadblocks and enable the broader License e‑commerce Strategy.
  • Partner with Digital Product Management to ensure that international partner needs and technical requirements are represented in the corporate technology roadmap.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years in International eCommerce or Digital Marketplace management, specifically working with third‑party or licensed business models.
  • Proven ability to influence external partners and internal cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
  • Experience taking domestic digital strategies and successfully optimizing for diverse markets.
  • Strong understanding of e‑commerce KPIs and the ability to use data to guide partner site optimizations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to navigate complex partner relationships and cultural nuances.
  • Demonstrated ability to devise and execute strategies effectively, bringing key stakeholders along for the journey.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Willingness and flexibility to regularly align working hours with global partners as operational needs require.
