Job description

LOCATION OF POSITION: Cooperative Summer School Fairport NY 14450; West Irondequoit Middle School and Pittsford High School
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:  July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026; No Fridays except for July 17th
HOURS: 7:15 AM -12:15 PM (5 hour day)
SALARY:           0-5 years   $48.20/hr
                        6-10 years  $55.60/hr
                        10 + years  $59.00/hr
DUTIES:
1.  Implement NYS curriculum for grades 9-12.
2.  Provide a high level of instruction in a two-hour block-scheduling format.
3.  Proctor and grade NYS Regents exams as assigned by principal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  NYS Certification in Science.
2.  Dual certification desirable.
3.  Knowledge of Common Core and NYS Assessments.
4.  Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
Employment in the Cooperative Summer School program is enrollment/registration driven. Please note that previous employment in the Cooperative Summer School program does not guarantee future employment in the program. Rate of pay is per hour based on number of years of service in the Cooperative Summer School program. All Cooperative Summer School employees are paid on timesheets.  (Please inquire with Payroll regarding timesheet schedule.) Staff are expected to work all appointed days.
Employment is contingent upon student enrollment and availability of programs.
