Jack Henry is seeking an experienced programmer to join our Banking Operations Integration team. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to support the annual release process for our SilverLake and 20/20 core platforms, along with other Jack Henry products. You will also provide ongoing support to customers across the United States.

This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

The salary range for this position is $56,800-$89,500 and will be determined based on location and experience level.

All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.  

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Develops programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.
  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.
  • Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.
  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
  • Test's code and fixes to ensure quality.
  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.
  • Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.  
  • Creates programming documentation as requested; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product.
  • May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
  • Mentors, trains, develops, and provides support to less experienced co-workers.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of technical support experience or programming experience either professionally or educationally.
  • Must have experience programming with any version of RPG.
  • Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
