Requirements
Workcooperatively with fellow Cabin Counselors to provide a healthy,safe, and enjoyable camp environment and experience for all campers.Cabin Counselors and Instructors live in a cabin group of 16 campersand provide activity instruction to campers during the day.

KeyResponsibilities:
• Provideguidance to campers on their schedule, activity choices, and abidingcamp rules
• Ensurecampers are on time to activities with the appropriate supplies.Assist campers at meal times, and in the cabin to ensure campers aremaintaining health and hygiene practices such as showering, wearingclean clothes and getting appropriate sleep
• Leadcabin activities, songs, and games that are engaging and ageappropriate
• Provideemotional and behavioral support to campers as needed by followingbehavior management techniques as outlined in the staff manual andduring training
• Provideinstruction of assigned camp activities to campers
• Ensurethe safety of all campers when participating in campactivities
RequiredExperience and Skills:
• Completedat least 1 year of college education or equivalent
• Adesire to positively impact the life of a child and willingness toput the needs of campers first
• Havea passion for science, animals and childhood development
• Ableto effectively communicate ideas, and instructions in a constructivemanner
• Self-motivatedand able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimalsupervision
• Bewilling to learn new concepts and skills
• Ableto work in a team and both give and take direction fromothers
• Willingnessto adhere to camp's code of conduct, rules and policies

Benefits
Startingpay $4000 for 12 week summer. Additional $100 credit in campstore for snacks and supplies. Housing, meals, and laundryincluded. Weekend work is required, this position requiresavailability to work on-site 7 days a week for the contractperiod. 2-hour break provided each day, and 1 scheduled day offeach week.
