Job description
SUMMARY
Provides students with developmental disabilities support and services as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow daily scheduled activities plan for individuals assigned within the facility.
Promote, establish and maintain a clean, safe training, therapeutic and supportive environment.
Demonstrate through programming data that clients in assigned departments have learned new skills enhancing quality of life, self esteem, independent functioning, and community inclusion.
Communicate to Services Manager in a timely manner concerns of client training activities.
Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities to ensure maximum program participation.
Give feedback to Services Manager ensuring services are responsive to clients needs and choices.
Demonstrate flexibility necessary to maximize training and productivity. Flexibility includes methods and hours.
Project a positive image of the Association as reflected to customers, general public, co-workers, and assigned clients.
Demonstrate efficient, safe manner when performing duties and with Association and customer property, vehicles, and equipment. Ensure assigned clients do the same.
Maintain and submit accurate documentation and reports as required. (i.e. training, production, time records, programming data, payment records, etc.) by specific deadlines.
Assist with the needs of total care clients (changing, showering, dressing, etc.)
Demonstrate a professional manner which creates a role model for clients. Train clients in the following professional and socialization skills:

E. Making long range choices
F. Learning to make independent choices
G. Experiencing freedom from unnecessary anxiety

Oversee assembly/socialization activities of clients, and off-site clients if needed.
Give feedback to Services Manager ensuring services are responsive to clients needs and choices.
Maintain confidentiality of all clients personal data.
Implement training programs developed by the Services Manager.
Keep Services Manager aware of updates and changes needed on individual training programs.
Participate in In-service.
Promote compliance with Association rules and regulations and work toward a consistent team approach with other staff.
