Job description

​Seeking a motivated Senior application developer to create custom analytics to perform at scale.  The Senior application developer will work closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools to further discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges, then deliver innovative solutions focused on operationalizing data science.
 
Work directly with data scientists as well as mission analysts to solve the most demanding strategic problems; perform software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, deploy and maintain tools and tradecraft into the customer's corporate architecture.
 
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
  • Develop end-to-end applications that integrate front-end U/I with back-end services to support analyst workflows.
  • Knowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories required.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Required Technical Skills
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, GM, Java, Python, PySpark
  • Experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big data
  • Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and data analysis
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab; familiarity with Agile methodologies
Desired Technical Skills
  • Experience with software development processes (i.e., requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance) and programming
  • Experience with Data Science, AI/ML, and using Large Language Models (LLMs)​

Pay Range: $64.04 - $120.27 per hour*
Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
