JOB TITLE: Aesthetician

DIVISION: Spa

REPORTS TO: Spa Manager

LOCATION: SolitudeMountain Spa /The Inn

CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal Commission plus Tips

PURPOSE OF POSITION:The Spa Aesthetician assesses the Spa client needs to create an experience that addresses their concerns and fits their needs.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed aesthetician, qualified to work in Utah
  • Experience in providing facial treatments, manicures, pedicures, and waxing
  • Experience in providing a variety of body treatments, including wraps, scrubs, etc.
  • Professional attitude and positive demeanor
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of aesthetic technique, regional skin conditions (dry climate, high altitude)
  • Perform multiple high-quality, consistent, facials and body treatments each day
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours each day
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willing to work with a high-expectation clientele

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for being on-site and ready to receive clients
  • Ensuring therapy room is in working order
  • Being up to 15 minutes early to greet clients and discuss their needs
  • Basic cleaning and reset of treatment room after use
  • Sell retail products to clients
  • End-of-day chores, including restocking of treatment reagents and laundering linens and table shrouds
  • Responsible for reading and adhering to scheduling policies and procedures
