Job description

Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is situated within a remote detox center framework, focusing on providing essential mental health services to individuals dealing with substance use and related challenges. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that clients receive tailored therapeutic interventions and support during their recovery journey.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we are committed to fostering holistic development through innovative programs designed to support individuals in overcoming challenges related to substance use and mental health. Our experienced team of professionals collaborates in a dynamic environment, ensuring that each client receives personalized care that addresses their unique circumstances. We emphasize the integration of mental health services within a comprehensive treatment framework, aiming to enhance overall client well-being and foster long-term success.

Work Environment

This is a remote role within a detox center setting, enabling flexibility while maintaining a strong support network for staff and clients. Our inclusive work culture encourages collaboration and open communication among team members, ensuring that all social workers are equipped with the resources necessary to deliver effective care. The remote work setting provides an opportunity to connect with clients from various backgrounds, allowing you to make a significant impact on their lives while working from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each client’s emotional, social, and behavioral challenges, holistically addressing their needs.
  • Utilize a variety of assessment tools—including observations, interviews, and standardized tests—to evaluate clients' mental health status accurately.
  • Provide both individual and group therapy focused on issues like anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, substance use, and adjustment to life changes.
  • Facilitate group counseling sessions targeting crucial areas such as stress management, coping strategies, and addiction education.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and addiction specialists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Support clients’ transition planning, ensure access to community resources, and develop ongoing support mechanisms post-treatment.
  • Implement crisis intervention methodologies, perform risk assessments, and develop safety plans tailored to high-risk clients.
  • Design and lead psychoeducation workshops aimed at equipping clients and their families with essential coping skills and knowledge about addiction recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals undergoing detoxification and early recovery from substance use disorders. The sensitive nature of this work requires a solid understanding of the complexities surrounding addiction. Our clients often face significant emotional, psychological, and social challenges, making it essential for our LCSW to employ trauma-informed care and develop trusting relationships with them to effectively facilitate recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
  • Must possess an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong understanding of substance use disorders, mental health issues, and evidence-based therapeutic practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in utilizing digital platforms for therapy sessions and documentation, as well as familiarity with relevant software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills are required to work effectively within a remote team and with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting is preferred, ideally with a focus on detox or recovery environments.
  • Prior experience in remote therapy and online counseling is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with holistic treatment approaches and community resources related to substance use recovery is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. Additional incentives, including a sign-on bonus, are also available. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health insurance coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision, ensuring the well-being of our employees.
  • Retirement plans with employer matching contributions to help secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off policy, inclusive of holidays and summer breaks, fostering work-life balance.
  • Continuous professional development opportunities, including training, workshops, and conferences to enhance your skills and career advancement.
  • Access to mental health resources and wellness programs designed to support our staff's well-being.
Career Growth Opportunities

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is committed to the professional growth of our employees. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will benefit from ongoing supervision and mentorship, allowing for personal and professional development within the organization. Opportunities for advancement into senior clinical roles, program management, or specialized training are available for those seeking to take their careers to the next level.

Why Join Our Team
