The Company Youโ€™ll Join: Founded in 2016 to bring rigorous research and analytics to early careers and recruiting leaders, Veris Insights has grown to serve thousands of Heads of Talent, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Early Careers from over 300 Fortune 500 organizations. Our team of 80+, including researchers, consultants, PhDs, analysts, and executive service directors, work daily to help members understand, deliberate, and solve their hardest challenges.

The Team Youโ€™ll Join You will join the Entry Talent Accelerator Program (ETA), a high-performance early-career development program designed for ambitious individuals looking to accelerate their growth in client-facing and revenue-generating environments.

This role is a full-time position beginning in Summer 2027 for graduating seniors.

As a Business Development Analyst, you will sit within our Growth Division and serve as one of the first points of contact for senior Talent Acquisition and University Recruiting leaders interested in Veris Insights' work. Through strategic outreach and insights-driven conversations, you will help generate interest in our memberships (ongoing partnerships that give organizations access to our research and advisory teams) while developing communication, advisory, and executive-facing skills foundational to long-term career growth at the firm.

This is an outbound growth and business development role centered around high-volume communication and strategic prospecting. Business Development Analysts spend a significant portion of their day conducting outbound outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn, engaging senior leaders in thoughtful, data-informed conversations.

This role is best suited for individuals who are energized by frequent conversations with senior leaders and want their work measured, coached, and rewarded on results.

How Youโ€™ll Grow: The ETA Program is a structured, 12-18 month development program built around the Business Development Analyst role. Through the program, you will develop:

Public Speaking & Executive Presence: Build confidence and fluency in high-pressure communication environments through coaching, repetition, and real-time feedback.

Consultative Advisory Skills: Learn how to identify executive priorities, build credibility quickly, and guide strategic conversations with senior leaders.

Negotiation & Influence: Develop the ability to navigate high-stakes conversations with confidence, professionalism, and strong interpersonal judgement.

Data Interpretation & Insight Delivery: Learn how to quickly interpret research and data to support real-time, insight-driven advisory conversations.

The program is designed to build the foundational skills of a working professional and prepare participants for client-facing and revenue-generating roles across the firm. Progression through the program is based on individual performance against defined milestones, and placement afterward is based on business need at the time.

Your Character:

Incisiveness. You quickly identify priorities, connect ideas, and thoughtfully diagnose challenges.

Executive Presence. You communicate with confidence, professionalism, warmth, and credibility across a wide range of audiences.

Results Orientation. You are motivated by performance, growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Intellectual Curiosity. You enjoy learning quickly, asking thoughtful questions, and building expertise in complex topics.

Empathy & Service Orientation. You genuinely care about the people you work with and strive to build trust in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities: Direct Outreach & Pipeline Generation

Work Authorization Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider OPT/CPT holders.

Please keep in mind: Research has shown that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds only apply to jobs when they meet 100% of the requirements vs. their majority counterparts, which apply at a much higher rate if they meet 50-60% of the requirements. So, with that being said, if you are interested in the role, we would love to hear how you can leverage your talents to be an awesome culture add.

Our Values & Culture, In Brief: Talent is in our DNA. It is what we study, who we serve, and the quality we most pride ourselves on internally. In order for our team members to be at their best, we provide individualized benefits and support. We believe a well-rounded and diverse team is the key to our success. To provide the widest range of experiences and perspectives in our member service and internal culture, we never discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status. Please let our recruiter know if there are any accommodations we can provide for you to ensure an equitable and comfortable recruitment process.

We highly value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and this shows up in everything we do. Our research has a significant focus on the experiences of candidates from diverse backgrounds. Internally, we have Employee Resource Groups for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ employees, and Affinity Groups to support women and neurodiversity. Furthermore, weโ€™ve established a Diversity Council to promote a workplace environment that is safe, respectful, and inclusive for all and acts as an active partner to People Ops and Leadership in service of our broader firm-wide DEI goals.
