Job Description

Brains and Motion Education is in search of experienced summer camp Instructors for our Summer Camp programs to fill-in at multiple camp locations for call-offs. When not filling in for a call-off, you may be assisting fellow teachers, performing administrative tasks such as inventory management, supply delivery, printing, and any other tasks to help our camps run as directed by the Program Manager.

We provide our industry-leading curricula and all needed materials for a fun and engaging camp experience!

Brains and Motionย is a leading provider of STEM, Arts and Sports for students ages 6 to 14. Our focus is on providing the next generation of leaders and innovators.

In this role, you will:

  • Instruct and manage your group of campers.
  • Utilize your subject-specific expertise and utilize the existing curriculum.
  • Committed to the personal growth of each camper in your group, ensuring they have a positive, enriching, fun and safe experience.
  • Utilize your excellent communication skills to clearly communicate with both campers and their parents.
  • Recognize and quickly resolve any conflicts that may arise between campers.
  • Assist with equipment inventory as needed.
  • Work at multiple campsites within a given region as determined by the Program Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a camp environment.
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about coaching and teaching kids
  • Ability to work with kids in Grades TK-8
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • You are organized and efficient.
  • Efficient class management skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must possess a current, government issued photo identification, such as a valid driverโ€™s license or state ID, and have dependable transportation to travel to assigned program locations as needed.
  • Background check required.
  • Ability to lift and carry ~20-50 lbs. on an occasional basis with or without accommodations.
  • Must have availability Monday-Friday for schedules between 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM (camp is from 9am-3pm).
