About This Role

This position is part time. The hours are 2:45-5:45 Monday through Friday. Full time hours when Southwest schools are not in session. If you enjoy working with school age children and want to play an important role in their learning and development, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


What You'll Do
  • assist the lead teacher in lesson plans
  • assist the children with homework
  • classroom management and cleanliness
  • follow all of the center's policies and procedures
  • Assist lead teacher on field trips in the summer

Requirements
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Current physical on file
  • Completion of required orientation trainings
  • CPR/first aid certified
