The Senior Performance Analyst is responsible for calculating and analyzing a diverse portfolio of client performance using various performance and analytical tools as well as assisting with broad team processes and development.
Responsibilities:
  • Review reports and projects assigned to Performance Analysts
  • Acts as a resource to new and junior performance analysts
  • Understanding of the subcomponents for team processes
  • Proactively looking for efficiencies and ways to improve the process for the Performance team
  • Help Investment Consultants and Client Analysts develop insight into client portfolio and investment performance
  • Serve as an expert resource regarding performance calculations and other performance concepts
  • Serve as a conduit between the Performance Team and firm Business Council's to provide specialized reporting and insights
  • Calculate, verify and reconcile performance returns by utilizing custodial data feeds and statements
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions in collaboration with members of the client service team including Consulting Analysts and Consultants
  • Create and proactively execute complex client reporting structures
  • Collect portfolio characteristics for a variety of investments from outside sources
  • Partner with Investment Operations colleagues to provide accurate data for various client-related tasks
  • Respond to client requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Support Investment Consultants and assist on a variety of ad-hoc projects

Required Education, Professional & Technical Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required with a preferred concentration in Finance or Economics
  • CIPM or CFA achieved or in-progress preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of investment consulting or financial industry work experience is preferred
  • Previous CRM, Advent Black Diamond, Adobe, Canoe, PARis, and custodial portal experience is a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of capital markets, including domestic and foreign equity, fixed income and alternative investments
  • Hard-working professional with a collaborative approach and a desire to work in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with keen attention to accuracy and organization
  • Ability to effectively problem solve
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and intermediate Excel knowledge is required

Work Environment & Travel Requirements

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
