Job description

Temporary, Part-Time Summer Custodial/Maintenance Position June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026
This position is open to all Applicants aged 16 or older.  
Darien 61 is in need of help this summer.  This is a position with flexible hours and schedule for up to 6 hours per day. 
Starting at $15.00 per hour.
All candidates will be interviewed by the director of building and grounds who will then submit applicant to the superintendent for final approval. 
Work includes but is not limited to: 
- Assistance in cleaning/maintaining schools and classrooms during summer school
- Cleaning and preparation of school grounds
- Take down and set up of classrooms
- Cleaning and preparation of school premises
- Other work as assigned
