Summer Internship – Agentic Operations & Data Analyst


Position Summary

Bluebonnet Trading LLC is seeking a motivated AI and Software Engineering Intern to help develop intelligent automation, data analytics, and AI-driven business systems supporting our multi-platform e-commerce operations. This internship provides hands-on experience designing agentic AI solutions, building automation workflows, analyzing business data, and developing software that supports real business operations. Training and mentorship will be provided in areas where the successful candidate has limited experience.


Key Responsibilities


Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Assist in developing AI models to analyze product performance, sales trends, sourcing opportunities, pricing, and inventory turnover.
  • Help create reports and dashboards that provide actionable business insights.

AI Automation & Agentic Systems

  • Assist with the design and implementation of AI agents and intelligent automation workflows.
  • Work with OpenAI APIs, large language models (LLMs), and workflow automation tools under mentorship.

Listing Automation

  • Help develop AI systems that convert product photographs into optimized marketplace listings.
  • Participate in improving AI-assisted listing generation workflows.

Inventory Management

  • Assist with inventory tracking, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

AI Marketing

  • Support creation of AI-generated product descriptions, marketing copy, images, and promotional content.

Software Development

  • Participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal software applications using modern development practices.

Special Projects

  • Contribute to technology and process improvement projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from accredited institute, or currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong programming aptitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to machine learning, deep learning, or data analytics.
  • Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, LLMs, or generative AI.
  • Exposure to workflow automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar).
  • Experience with SQL, Git/GitHub, or REST APIs.
  • Interest in e-commerce, inventory systems, or business analytics.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
