Center Barnstead, New Hampshire | Live-Out | Short-Term (Summer) Start Date: July 7 | Schedule: Tuesday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Every Other Week Compensation: $25-$30 per hour Position Overview A warm and active family nestled on a beautiful wooded property in Center Barnstead, New Hampshire is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Nanny for a short-term summer placement. They have one child, a spirited 5-year-old boy who loves outdoor adventures, trips to the park, fishing, and creative play. This is a wonderful opportunity for a caregiver who thrives on keeping up with an active child and making the most of summer days - whether that's a morning at the park, splashing in the backyard pool, or hunting for bugs in the woods.

The ideal candidate is patient, communicative, and comfortable with the natural rhythms of a child who is working through some big life transitions with the support of a caring and engaged mom. Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaging care for a 5-year-old boy throughout the day Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors Encourage creativity, curiosity, and active play - including outdoor adventures on the property Transport child to parks, outings, and activities as needed Prepare or assist with breakfast and help with dinner prep as the day winds down Support consistent routines and use calm, communicative strategies when managing big emotions Maintain a safe and nurturing environment at all times, including around a small pool and creek on the property Share daily updates with mom on the child's activities and well-being Requirements Prior nanny or childcare experience required Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required Comfortable with outdoor activities, rural settings, and adventure-based play Experience with or openness to supporting children navigating emotional or behavioral moments Warm, nurturing, and dependable CPR and First Aid Certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start) 3-5 professional references required Upon submitting this form, you will be considered for any suitable positions, so there is no need to complete multiple applications.
