Job description

McNees Summer Law Clerks receive real-world legal experience and meaningful exposure to a variety of assignments from their assigned practice group. Summer Law Clerks are also invited to firm events and networking opportunities and are provided mentorship from current McNees attorneys.


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal topics
  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents
  • Assist attorneys on various projects and assignments - both billable and non-billable
  • Observe client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as appropriate
  • Maintain organized files and documentation related to assigned projects
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Second year law student pursuing a J.D. at an accredited law school
