Dates:ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Session 1:ย  ย June ย  1, 2026 - June 12, 2026
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Session 2: ย  June 15, 2025 - June 26, 2026
Rate:ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย $2,100 per session
ย 




Position Summary:

  • Develop and schedule daily activities
  • Register students prior to beginning of program
  • Review applicants, interview, perform background checks and make recommendations to hire for Summer Math Academy Instructors and Support Staff
  • Provide direct supervision to Summer Math Academy Instructors and Support Staff
  • Review lesson plans and make recommendations as needed
  • Ensure staff members complete and submit timecards for hours worked
  • Facilitate planning meetings with Instructors and Support Staff
  • Conduct inventory, requisition and order materials and supplies
  • Communicate with parents as needed
  • Address student discipline issues
  • Work in cooperation with Principal and other district staff to ensure smooth operation of program
  • Ensure compliance with District facility management and safety requirements

Required Education and/or Experience
ย 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate with the approved area of Mathematics and Valid AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card


Preferred Education and/or Experience

  • Prior experience in supervision of summer activities program, camp or other related activity
  • Prior experience working with students ages six to thirteen
