Huntington Learning Center-Issaquah is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable tutors to join our team. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success by providing personalized instruction and support. Whether it's helping with homework, preparing for exams, or developing study skills, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their educational goals.
We are hiring for:

  • Exam Prep : ACT and SAT Reading/Writing/Math
  • Subject Tutoring: History, Literature, Writing, Psychology, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math
**This is an IN PERSON position
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter
  • Assess students' individual needs and guide the lesson to address students' specific target goals and scores

Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required. We have many opportunities for professionals from eclectic backgrounds in education or related fields
  • Teaching/Tutoring: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Willing to work a minimum of 3 days (10-20 hours) per week and must be flexible
  • Ability to reliably commute to Issaquah (98027)
  • You must have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of our students.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week or more
Schedule
  • Weekdays: M-Th 3pm-8pm; F: 1pm-7pm
  • Weekends: Sat 9am-4pm and Sun 10am-4pm
  • Choose your available hours
Schedule: (starting June 22nd)
