This is usually a part-time job, and summer math tutors occasionally work with small groups of students at once, too. In this role, you can tutor students at all levels of academic development, ranging from early childhood education to advanced college-level math. Students usually come to you if you work at a tutoring center, but, depending on the needs of clients, you may also travel to a student or client’s house or work in another facility, such as a rented classroom or a local library.
