2026 Summer Program - Math Teacher

Program Dates & Schedule:- July 7 - August 5
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays - 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
Salary:- $30.18/hour for professional learning and training
- $42.65/hour during program hours - for Delaware Certified Teachers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide targeted, standards-aligned instruction that supports IEP goals and addresses identified skill gaps.
- Break learning into manageable, bite-sized steps to reduce cognitive load and increase student success.
- Use evidence-based strategies, scaffolds, and accommodations to ensure access for all learners.
- Incorporate multisensory, hands-on, and language-rich activities to support diverse learning needs.
- Differentiate tasks, materials, and pacing based on student readiness and IEP requirements.
- Support students in study skills, goal setting, and academic success strategies
- Reinforce school expectations and positive decision-making
- Develop student leadership, responsibility, and interpersonal skills
Minimum Qualifications- Delaware teaching certification (Bachelor's degree or higher).
- Experience tutoring or working with appropriate grade level.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and foster inclusive, engaging learning environments.
