We are currently looking fortwo (2) Summer Students to provide support to our Nephrology Research Program.

Employment Status:  

Duration:  Up to August 28,2026 (subject to change)

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Research

Hiring Salary Range: $20/hour

Availability: Monday - Friday; with some flexibility as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Summer Student will assist with a systematic review and meta-analysis, including:

  • Research protocol development
  • Literature searches
  • Title and abstract screening
  • Full text retrieval and screening
  • Data extraction
  • Risk of bias assessment
  • Statistical analysis
  • Report writing
Qualifications:
  • Must be actively enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • Previous experience in administrative or customer service support required.
  • Candidates from the North West Toronto community are especially encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local residents.
  • Intermediate/proficient computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to multitask competing priorities
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
