A Summer Intern Scrum Master assists the Scrum team by helping to facilitate agile processes, removing obstacles, and supporting effective team collaboration. As an intern, you may help organize daily stand-ups, assist with sprint planning and retrospectives, and communicate updates with team members and stakeholders. This role is a learning opportunity, allowing you to gain hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and project management in a real-world setting. Intern Scrum Masters often work under the guidance of an experienced Scrum Master or Agile coach.

Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello is useful, along with understanding basic Scrum artifacts and ceremonies. Excellent communication, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset are essential soft skills for supporting team dynamics and fostering transparency. These skills ensure the intern can effectively assist in guiding teams, removing impediments, and contributing to a productive Agile environment.
