The Information Technology Department serves as the global communication hub for Aramco Americas and its affiliates, as well as, Saudi Aramco.  Its range of activities include providing core networking and communications infrastructure, in addition to finding and developing applications that can increase organizational efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Information Technology Internship Opportunity

Disciplines: Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
We are seeking a motivated and curious AI/ML Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing, testing, and deploying machine learning models and AI-driven solutions to solve real-world business challenges. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to contribute to ongoing projects and explore innovative applications of AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and implementing machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, or NLP tasks.
  • Clean, preprocess, and analyze structured, unstructured datasets and vectorize Database.
  • Collaborate on model evaluation, tuning, and deployment strategies.
  • Document findings, code, and processes for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in C#, .Net, Python.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).
  • Understanding of basic ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, overfitting, cross-validation, etc.
  • Experience with data manipulation tools (e.g., data frames, Pandas) and visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, chart.js).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Information Security Internship Opportunity

Disciplines: Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Intern to support cybersecurity operations, Security Operations Center activities, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives. This internship offers practical exposure to how enterprise security teams monitor threats, manage cyber risk, support compliance obligations, and help protect critical business systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Security Operations Center activities, including reviewing security alerts, documenting triage notes, and supporting incident response coordination.
  • Support cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability tracking, phishing analysis, and security reporting activities.
  • Assist with Governance, Risk, and Compliance tasks, including risk assessment documentation, control evidence collection, policy reviews, and remediation tracking.
  • Collaborate with information security, IT, and business teams to support cybersecurity awareness, compliance readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in cybersecurity, threat detection, incident response, risk management, or compliance.
  • Basic understanding of security concepts such as access control, vulnerability management, phishing, malware, logging, and network security.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, ticketing systems, dashboards, or reporting platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
