This is for a Summer Work position and is not considered a BOCES ESY position.

LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Component School Districts; Brighton, Fairport, Penfield, Webster, and West Irondequoit
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: July 7, 2026 - August 7, 2026; Part Time - Hours vary by location.
Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings:
June 2nd = Transition/Employment
June 3rd = O'Connor Academy, eStart, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)
June 10th = Creekside (BUP Unit), Bird/Morgan
SALARY RANGE: $42.50 per hour
DUTIES:
1. Implement the Driver Education curriculum.
2. Provide a high level of safety and supervision for students while driving on the road.
3. Assess students' driving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. NYSDMV approval as a Driver and Traffic Safety Education Teacher.
2. NYS Secondary Education teacher certification.
3. Valid driver's license devoid of any suspensions and/or revocations.
4. Experience with teaching Driver Education to high school students preferred.
5. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
