About the Role:

The Bus Driver / Summer Counselor position at Kids R Kids Sandy Plains Academy is a unique opportunity that combines transportation and mentorship for children during the summer months. The primary goal of this role is to ensure the safe and timely transportation of children to and from various summer activities while also providing guidance and support as a counselor. This position requires a strong commitment to child safety, as well as the ability to engage and inspire young minds through various recreational and educational activities. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and inclusive environment, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported. Ultimately, this role plays a crucial part in creating a memorable and enriching summer experience for all participants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
  • Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience in planning and leading recreational activities.
