Job Summary

Performs a variety of administrative, clerical, operational support, and customer service duties in support of detention facility operations. This civilian position assists with records, inmate processing support, property documentation, scheduling coordination, data entry, visitation coordination, phone communication, report preparation, and other office and support tasks that help ensure the efficient operation of the Detention Division. This position does not perform sworn law enforcement duties and does not exercise inmate custody or control except as incidental to assigned support tasks and under established procedures.ย 


Pay Rate

The monthly range is from $4,710.58 to $5,363.12, depending on experience, plus full benefits.

Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver's license without record of suspension or revocation in any state, as the position requires transporting documents between County facilities.
  • No felony convictions and/or disqualifying criminal history.
  • Must successfully complete all required background checks.
  • Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.
  • Must be able to work in a secure detention environment.
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or adjusted schedules depending on operational needs.


Qualifications/Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • One year of clerical, office support, records, customer service, corrections support, criminal justice support, or related experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must be of good moral character and dependable work habits.
