 Seasonal Position Duration: Currently - October 30th

We're looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our seasonal grounds crew. What You'll Be Doing:

Maintain cemetery grounds with care and respect, including installing burial vaults, setting markers, and landscaping.

Operate landscaping equipment (weed eaters, blowers, mowers) to keep the grounds looking pristine.

Perform tasks like trimming, pruning, sod cutting, and cleaning roadways and walkways.

Help families during special committal services, assisting with placing flowers or lowering caskets.

Work on special projects and help with mausoleum maintenance as needed.

Collaborate with a supportive team that's committed to delivering compassionate service to our community.


What You'll Bring:

A positive attitude and a respectful, empathetic approach to working with families during their time of grief.

Previous experience in landscaping or operating light equipment (we can train you on specific tasks).

Mechanical knowledge, especially with sprinkler systems, is a plus.

Physical stamina for outdoor work, including lifting, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods.

Job Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the operation of light equipment.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • General knowledge of repair and installation of sprinkler systems.
  • Experience in landscaping.
  • Knowledge of lawn care equipment (blower, weed eater, edger).
  • Ability to deal with grief and mourning by family and friends of deceased at committal services and during disposition procedures.
  • Courteous and good attitude around public and towards supervisor.
  • Ability to operate weed eater (10 - 25 lbs.) for 4 to 6 hours with 15-minute morning break, 30 minute meal break, and 15 minute afternoon break.
  • Ability to assist in removing and lifting single and double shutter crypt fronts (75 - 200 lbs).
  • Demonstrate ability to perform the duties the position requires.
