Job description

This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.
What You'll Do:
  • Assists project team members with various support tasks.
  • Conducts basic research and data collection.
  • Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
  • Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
  • Performs other duties assigned.

What You'll Need:
  • Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology, particularly GIS
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • An interest in learning and staying current on transportation planning
  • Familiarity with GIS applications including FieldMaps, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Pro.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through visual and written documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Assists project team members with various support tasks such as development of maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting.
  • Strong interest in transportation, infrastructure, and the environment
