About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, attentive, and service‑driven Restaurant Server to join our team at our golf course’s clubhouse restaurant. This role blends classic restaurant service with the relaxed, community‑focused atmosphere of a golf environment. In addition to daily dining service, you’ll support a variety of banquets, tournaments, and private events, helping create memorable experiences for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm, professional table service to members and guests in the dining room, bar, and outdoor patio areas.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked service area.
  • Process payments, handle cash/credit transactions, and close checks correctly.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Required to be able to lift 25lbs or more.
  • Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Support special events, banquets, and golf outings as needed.
  • Build positive relationships with club affiliates, Oakland University staff members, and the general public.
