Job Title: Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher (Elementary)Job Summary: The Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher provides instruction and support to students with disabilities during the summer program. The teacher ensures that students maintain skills on their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement lesson plans to support students' IEP goals.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to student needs.
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and paraprofessionals.
- Collect data and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary.
- Ensure a safe and structured classroom environment.
- Oversee paraprofessional schedules, roles and responsibilities.
