Job description

Purpose
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Summer Lifeguards. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming aquatic environment for all our members and guests. If you have a passion for water safety, enjoy working in a vibrant community setting, and thrive in an active role, we would love to have you on our team this summer.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain Vigilance: Continuously monitor the pool, deck, and surrounding areas to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
Emergency Response: Act quickly and decisively in the event of an emergency, performing water rescues, administering first aid, and performing CPR or using an AED when necessary.
Enforce Rules: Courteously and firmly enforce all facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Must be at least 15 years old by the start of the summer season.
Valid Lifeguard Certification (must be active through the end of the summer).
Valid CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (preferred)
Strong swimming proficiency and the ability to pass a physical pre-employment swim test.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Reliable, punctual, and possesses a positive attitude.
