School Nurse - Elementary Summer School
Position Type: Summer Positions/Health Assistant 1.0
Location: Parkside Elementary School
Dates and Times: June 8- June 26 (Monday-Friday); no school June 19th
Hours: 8:00am - 1:00pm (5 Hours - students attend 8:30-1)
Qualifications: Must hold an Illinois RN license
Responsibilities:
  • Able to evaluate and make decisions based on assessments and nursing judgment.
  • Able to follow through independently with appropriate care as needed.
  • Should have knowledge of and be able to perform (but not limited to): GTube feedings, basic first aid, medication administration, CPR, monitoring vital signs, suctioning, oxygen administration, and catheterizations.
