Job description

BA Interns at our Walk In Crisis Center (WIC) will have the opportunity to observe and learn from AllHealth Network clinicians in a crisis setting. The WIC BA intern will receive full spectrum exposure to working with a diverse population of clients in crisis. This placement is located at our Walk In Crisis Center on the Acute Care Campus in Littleton, Colorado.

The BA intern will gain experience working with clients requiring higher levels of care and intervention due to their symptoms. Prospective interns should have special interest in crisis counseling, suicide prevention, risk assessment, and be open to working with clients experiencing psychosis, mania, personality disorders, and co-occurring substance use. This is a high acuity setting and interns will need to follow all agency policies and be very adaptable.

Under the supervision of a Bachelor level clinician the intern will support the WIC team by completing prescreening assessment to assist in determining the level of care and support needed. This includes risk assessment, case management, referrals and coordination of care with team members and other providers. Providing trauma informed care, crisis intervention and de-escalation with clients. Interns will support in processing internal and external referrals for placement to the Acute Treatment Unit and Crisis Stabilization Unit. As with all placements, the intern will receive weekly supervision from a clinician.

· All internships are unpaid

· AllHealth Network does not employ or provide internships to current or former clients or those who have family members in treatment to avoid confidentiality concerns or conflicts of interest.

· Interns may not practice in any language other than English unless they have passed the Human Resources approved proficiency examination.

· Those offered internship positions are required to complete background check process and other onboarding requirements, as outlined by Human Resources.

· Interns are expected to attend New Employee Orientation (NEO) as well as other required new hire and internship trainings and to complete all mandatory agency wide staff training requirements. Interns are also expected to give constructive feedback that evaluates their training and supervision experience and to be engaged in the learning process.

· Interns are expected to participate in the development of a performance plan if one is needed.

· Interns are expected to keep track of their hours as they accrue, per the requirements of their academic program.

· AllHealth interns are encouraged to participate in all intern group meetings, trainings (both online and live), and presentations.

· Video and audio taping of sessions is not permitted. Interns in academic programs that require video or audio recording should apply elsewhere.


Title and Hours Required:

Hours are flexible Thursday through Saturday, swing shifts.

· The internship typically follows the academic year and begins in the Summer/Fall 2026 semester.

· Open to hourly or semester by semester requirements

· Location: 6509 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, CO. 80120.

· This is a fully in person placement.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be in final year of Bachelors level program in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology
