AIMCo's Mortgage team is seeking a student to complement and support its existing team. The AIMCo Mortgage team manage a portfolio of around $7billion on behalf of our clients. Investments are primarily located within the Canadian, US, and UK markets.
Note: This is a 4-month, full-time term from May 2027 through August 2027.

Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing annual loans by completing rent roll updates
  • Reviewing operating statements & input tenant classification and market research
  • Updating loan information and data management
  • Reporting and assisting the team on mortgage investment underwriting
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Undergraduate Student enrolled in Commerce/Business, Finance, Economics, Math or related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Database program (MS ACCESS or SQL) is an asset
  • Exposure to automated reporting is an asset (PowerBI)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Effective analytical, organization, time management and communication skills
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCo's core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration, and inspires the same in others

Success:

As the successful student on the mortgages team, you will become very familiar with the inner workings on AIMCo's Mortgage's portfolio. You will seek out efficiencies and work with the investment professionals around you to implement them. You will take advantage of your summer at AIMCo by building connections across the organization.
