What the job involves:

We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to join our team. In this role, you will learn EHS compliance management, risk assessment and mitigation strategies, and field safety oversight practices.

As a Summer Intern in EHS at JLL, you will:

Site Support Activities: Provide "boots on the ground" facilities and construction EHS oversight, working with Operations and Engineering Staff to review Job Hazard Analyses and Safety Work Permits

Field Inspections: Execute documented field inspections through the Purposeful Presence on the Floor program and conduct safety observations of facilities services and planned risk activities

Vendor Compliance: Inspect vendor operations using prescribed protocols and collaborate with JLL vendor partners to ensure compliance with JLL/Account requirements while on-site

EHS Program Support: Assist with Refrigerant Management, Lock-Out & Tag-Out, Fall Prevention, Pressure Vessels, Hazard Communication, and Confined Spaces programs

Documentation and Training: Support safety and environmental record keeping, conduct EHS training as required, and assist with incident investigations

Education, Skills, and Experience

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field

Strong interest in EHS compliance and safety management

Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program.
