Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator of Box Office, Camps, and Conferences. - Boca Raton, FL.

Responsible for coordinating all Box Office ticketing for the Student Union and Arts and Letters theaters. The Coordinator provides direction tocustomers regarding ticketing for the Student Union and Arts and Letters theaters. Provides leadership to students or support staff/volunteers. Responsible for overseeing and updating Box Office policies and procedures in coordination with the Director of the Student Union.

  • Responsible for Box Office operations including ticketing for all events in the Carole and Barry Kaye Auditorium, Student Union, and Arts and Letters facilities including building shows, and manage ticket inventory.

  • Designs listings for events on fauevents.com; communicates with promoters; ensures promoter has met all policies for tickets to go on sale.

  • Hires, trains, schedules, and supervises ticket office student staff. Ensures that all staff is fully trained in handling customer issues and explaining policies regarding ticket sales

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests, and train all Box Office personnel in customer service standards.

  • Oversees all seating in the Carole and Barry Kaye Auditorium during events including training volunteer ushers, handling accessible seating, etc.

  • Attends all Union team meetings and client meetings when appropriate.

  • Updates Box Office policies and procedures in coordination with the Student Union Director as necessary.

  • Oversees all ticket purchases and refunds.

  • Provides reports to Event Planning within 24 hours of shows to assist with settlements to the promoter.

  • Serves as the primary contact for Division of Student Affairs for Summer Camps and Conferences.

  • Coordinate weekly meetings with all division and university stakeholders to prepare for and conferences.

  • Coordinate a master conference calendar.

  • Process all applications for Camps and Conferences including entering EMS, sending estimates, contracting and invoicing.

  • Serve on university/divisional/department committees as deem necessary.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
