What does our Internship Program offer?

Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work that matters, offers feedback and coaching, and creates engaging events and conversations that will spark excitement and interest in bringing one’s full-time career to Key.

Interns are involved in a host of line of business specific projects that directly impact and benefit Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization, a series of Learning Labs where internal and external speakers provide insight on Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development best practices, and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge, experience, and advice.

• Business Delivery, providing comprehensive technology solutions to Key's lines of business & functional areas
• Enterprise Technology including architecture, infrastructure, networks, data centers and cloud technology to ensure stable systems and platforms
• Enterprise Data and Analytics Services, enabling transformation of customer and market data into valuable insights and analytics
• Enterprise Operations, spanning Origination through Default Management, Deposit Operations, ACH, Wire & Check Payment Operations, Loan Services Operations, and Treasury Operations
• Enterprise Security, including Technology Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Fraud Detection/Management, Identity Verification, and Physical Security

Key Technology and Services Internship Program

Our summer internship program spans 10 weeks in duration and allows you to work alongside KeyBank's experts within Key Technology & Services (KTS). The internship provides an opportunity to get hands-on experience with our innovative operations teams. Our internships will equip you with competitive skills, valuable networking and mentoring and exposure to executives through a structured experience.

• Opportunities to use industry leading software (examples include: Tableau, ServiceNow, Visual Studio, Jira, Automation Anywhere, Jenkins, PowerShell, HTML, C#, Python, SQL, JavaScript)
• Upon successful completion of the internship, you will have the opportunity to be considered for placement (after graduation) in our KTS Rotational Analyst Program. Candidacy for the program will be based on skills demonstrated, performance, career interests, internship experience and business demand

Data & Analytics Track Placement Opportunities: KTS Operations teams deliver world-class operations solutions and continual process improvements while supporting multiple lines of business.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with focused coursework in Business, Operations, Data Science, System Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics/ Mathematics, or related majors, with an anticipated graduation of May 2028 or December 2027
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA)
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
• Bring solid analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
• Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or related business software
• Possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn

Compensation and Benefits

This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $25 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2,000.00 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.

KeyBank's Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa).
