Part-Time Regular Position

The City of Litchfield Park, AZ is seeking a part-time preschool aide to join our Community and Recreation Services Department and work year round with our dynamic Preschool team. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:

Incumbents are responsible for direct care of participants in the preschool and summer camp programs. Assists in the coordination and carrying out of day-to-day preschool or summer camp activities, depending on time of year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PART-TIME PRESCHOOL AIDE

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year of experience in early childhood education preferred.
  • Must have a current Fingerprint Clearance Card
WORK SCHEDULE

This is a year round part-time position (up to 19 hours per week). During the months of August through May, the preschool aide will assist with classroom duties and projects related to school year activities. During the months of June and July, the preschool aide will assist with summer camp activities.

Workdays and hours:

AM Aide Schedule

Monday: 7:45am - 11:15am

Tuesday: 7:45am - 11:45am

Wednesday: 7:45am - 11:15am

Thursday amp; Friday: 7:45am - 11:45am

Required Pre-Employment Screening: Reference Check, Drug Test, Background Check, and TB Skin Test
